Intellectual Property & Copyright Policy

• ​Ownership of Content: All artwork, images, graphics, and text on this website are the sole property of Ritu Lahoti and may not be used, downloaded, or distributed by any third party without explicit written permission.
• ​Reproduction Prohibited: Copying, imitating, digital downloading, or reproducing artwork created by ritulahoti.com is strictly prohibited without prior written consent from the artist.
• ​Collector Rights vs. Copyright: Ritu Lahoti retains all rights to all artwork until it has been purchased. Upon purchase, the private or public collector receives the right to physically display the artwork in their home or business. However, the artwork may not be reproduced, copied, or used for commercial profit by the buyer.
• ​Rights to Images of Sold & Commissioned Art: Ritu Lahoti solely retains all rights to the digital and physical images of all artwork, including the rights to the images of sold and custom-commissioned original art.
• ​Reproductions and Prints: Ritu Lahoti retains the right to create and sell reproductions (prints, merchandise, etc.) of any and all artwork created by her, unless the collector has explicitly purchased the full or partial copyright in addition to purchasing the physical original artwork.
• ​Limited & Open Editions: The artist reserves the right to sell additional editions of all artworks to other buyers up to the specified edition limit for that artwork (unless marked as an "Open Edition"). Edition limits apply to each specific SKU (size, material, media, etc.).
