Return & Refund Policy
Thank you for supporting independent art! At www.ritulahoti.com, we want you to be completely in love with your purchase. Because original artwork and custom commissions require significant time, care, and secure handling, we have established the following guidelines for returns and cancellations.
1. Original Artwork & Paintings
- 7-Day Window: If you are not entirely satisfied with your original painting, you may request a return within 7 days of receiving your delivery.
- Condition: To be eligible for a return, the artwork must be in its original, undamaged condition and packed securely in its original packaging.
- Return Shipping: Unless the item arrived damaged, the buyer is responsible for return shipping costs, including tracking and insurance. We highly recommend insuring the shipment, as we cannot issue a refund for art that is damaged or lost during its return journey.
2. Custom Commissions & Caricatures
- All Sales Final: Custom commissions, personalized caricatures, and specially ordered bespoke pieces cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged, as they are created specifically to your unique specifications.
- Approval Process: For all commissions, you will receive digital updates/previews during the creation process to ensure you are happy with the direction before the final piece is shipped.
3. Damages During Transit
We take utmost care in packaging our artwork securely. However, if your order arrives damaged, please follow these steps immediately:
1. Take clear photos of the damaged packaging before opening it (if visible).
2. Take clear photos of the damage to the artwork itself.
3. Contact us at rituartspace@gmail.com within48 hours of delivery with the photos and your order number.
4. We will work swiftly with the courier service to arrange a replacement, repair, or full refund.
4. Refunds Process
Once your return is received and inspected by our studio:
- We will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item and whether the refund has been approved.
- If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 7–10 business days.
5. How to Initiate a Return
To start a return, please contact us at rituartspace@gmail.com* with your order number and the reason for the return. Please do not send artwork back without contacting us first.
